Lusto’s archives contain a diverse range of material connected to the history of forests and forest culture. Some of it is related to the experiences and reminiscences of private persons, while some is connected with the history of forestry organisations. Extensive official archives of organisations do not, however, belong to Lusto’s scope of collection. Lusto’s archive collections contain work journals, documents related to forestry, letter collections, and a considerable amount of recorded interviews and oral tradition. The collections serve both researchers and Lusto’s exhibition activities.
