Lusto’s library specialises in old forestry publications and in forest history, traditions and culture, as well as in ethnological and museological literature required for museum work. The library contains around 15,000 volumes and various special collections, including a collection of offprints related to forestry, a collection of printed matter (e.g. brochures, posters, product catalogues, directions for use and advertising leaflets), and a collection of literary works by A. K. Cajander.
The library at Lusto can be used by arrangement. In the future, the collections of the library can also be browsed through online on the Kantapuu data base, available in Finnish.
