Lusto, the Finnish Forest Museum , is a national museum and science centre focusing on forests and forestry and displaying a diverse range of exhibitions. Situated in Punkaharju, Lusto is also a venue for various events. Besides Lusto’s own events, the premises are perfectly suitable for conferences, training courses, cultural events and other functions. For such purposes, use may be made of the conference rooms, some of the exhibition space and other public areas as well as the outdoor areas. Office space and services are available by arrangement in Lusto’s own offices.
It is worth including a visit to the exhibitions at Lusto as well as to the places of natural interest in the vicinity in your conference programme. They offer an interesting and refreshing add-on and can, when linked with the theme under discussion, also complement the subject matter of the conference. Various presentations, work demonstrations, workshops, nature activities and other special activities can also be arranged for the conference delegates.
The hire of the conference facilities does not include admission to the exhibitions, neither is a visit to the exhibitions a precondition for hire. Participants in a function can visit the exhibitions either as a group or as individual visitors at the group admission rate. The admission rates and charges for guided tours conform to Lusto’s normal charges.

The extra charge for all services provided outside the museum opening hours is 50 € per hour or by agreement for larger-scale functions.
