The Finnish Forest History Society organises one to three study tours annually, primarily intended for the members of the society, to destinations of forest history interest both in and outside Finland. The tours focus on the special features of the history of local forestry and include various visits and lectures. The programme of the tours combines current and historical aspects of forestry practice with aspects of forest history research.
